The Digital Sales Lead Generator is responsible for identifying and generating high-quality leads through digital and online channels. Working within the Retail Sales Team, this team will be dealing with fleets operating fewer than 50 vans, as well as smaller leasing and finance brokering companies. The Lead Generator will be expected to capture all enquries for these customers and follow through in line with KPIs.

This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing techniques, lead generation strategies, and the ability to build and nurture relationships with potential customers.

The successful candidate will be data-driven, results-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital lead generation campaigns across various channels including search engines, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify target audiences and develop effective lead generation strategies.

  • Build and maintain a robust lead generation pipeline through various digital platforms and tools.

  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and transfer qualified leads to the sales team.

  • Utilise CRM software to manage and track lead information, sales activities, and performance metrics.

  • Analyze lead generation data to identify trends, measure performance, and optimize campaigns.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align lead generation efforts with overall business objectives.

About you

You will be an individual who has proven experience in digital lead generation and sales. In addition to this you will have a strong understanding of digital marketing channels and platforms , (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing).

Being an excellent communicator and possessing strong interpersonal skills you will be able to address a variety of audiences and adapt your communication style to suit.

A data driven approach with strong analytical / problem – solving abilities will be required in your day – day responsibilities as well as producing MI reports.

You will feel comfortable working within a team or independently, using your own initiative and organising your own workload.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced engineering / manufacturing organisation (desirable)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the business

  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.

  • Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).

  • Previous experience within a sales / marketing lead generation role

  • Proven CRM experience
