About the role

As a Business Development Manager you will be working under the direction of the Head of Fleet Sales and supported by our Marketing department to identify and pursue new business opportunities for refrigerated van conversions from customers with fleets of 50 or more vehicles.

Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth by generating new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with customers.

You will be office based but travel to customer sites across the country will be required for this role. We are looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills, in written, online, telephone or face to face scenarios.

About you

You will have some experience within a business development role and be able to work independently and as apart of a team.

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Automotive Industry Knowledge (desirable)

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong Organisational & Time Management Skills

  • Ability to travel nationally

  • Experience of using a CRM System

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Ability to understand and interpret numerical sales data

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through thorough research, networking, and participation in industry events.

  • Develop a pipeline of qualified leads by targeting companies with fleet requirements for refrigerated vehicles.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.

  • Understand and anticipate customer needs, providing personalised solutions that align with their specific requirements.

  • Create tailored quotations and proposals that address the unique needs and challenges of each customer, ensuring a perfect fit for their fleet requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer specifications and exceed their expectations.

  • Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the benefits of CoolKit’s refrigerated van conversions.

  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, ensuring a consistent and robust pipeline of opportunities.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service throughout the sales process and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.

  • Office based with travel required nationwide to visit customer sites, conduct face-to-face meetings, and address specific needs or challenges related to refrigerated van conversions.

  • Meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
