About the role

As an Aftersales Business Development Manager you will work alongside our retail and fleet sales teams to identify new sales opportunities with current and prospective customers for our After Sales offerings.

You will identify and liaise with customers to create bespoke Service & Maintenance packages for their vehicles. You will monitor trends and customer spend in order to target effectively and create additional sales opportunities for repeat or new business.

In addition to this you will work alongside our Marketing Department to build brand awareness over our offerings.

Travel to customer sites across the country will be required for this role. We are looking for an individual who can build their own, and our brand, utilising their exceptional communication skills, in written, online, telephone or face to face scenarios!

Prior knowledge of the automotive industry within Aftersales is essential.

Required Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • Automotive Industry Experience

  • Commercial Vehicle Knowledge

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

  • After Sales / Service Sales Experience

  • Good knowledge of social media channels

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Results driven

  • Ability to understand and interpret numerical data

  • Good skills in Microsoft office suite package

  • Experience of using a CRM System

  • Ability to travel nationally

About you

You will be experienced within the automotive industry and have knowledge of general after sales offerings, including warranty terms and conditions.

You will possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels in the business.

In addition to this you will have proven sales experience of hitting targets and be computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all leads generated

  • Achieve assigned strategic objectives

  • Communicate with clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries

  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new potential customers and business opportunities.

  • Working alongside the Sales Director to develop and implement strategies for expanding the customer base and increasing new sales.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partnerships.

  • Participate in trade shows and conferences to promote CoolKit and generate leads.

  • Meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and forecast sales projections.

  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify areas for growth and improvement.

  • Data entry and maintenance of CRM System
